It has rugged cutting power combined with an excellent penetration performance and has proven itself as a very popular tactical knife with Law Enforcement agencies & Military units.

The epoxy powder coated, high carbon steel (1095) razor sharp blade has a [HRC 56-58] hardness rating.

The unique Tanto shaped full size 8" blade is hollow ground and sharpened to a 20 / 20 degrees edge angle with buff polished edges.

The metal butt cap & carbon steel guards are both powder coated.

Made exclusively in Olean, New York, U.S.A. and proudly bears the KA-BAR brand.

Knife comes in a non-reflective all black finish and has a partially serrated edge blade for cutting through rope or other tough cutting materials.

Knife comes with a KA-BAR / SGF sheath constructed of a tough reinforced glass filled nylon which is resistant to salt water and provides a hard surface which protects during rough use. It offers multiple lashing ports allowing for mounting in several positions including inverted. Sheath features a snap-in guard ridge and heavy duty handle snap closure for added security.
